Original Content Concerns

Most of my products are made from scratch, I can spend between an hour to 5 hours creating Original Content. I mostly create wallpapers, however I see a lot of wallpapers sourced from the internet and dumped on to opendesktop. Obviously the majority of these images are not owned by the uploader.

My concern:
Is it worth me spending the time creating original content or would I be better off spending that time scouring the internet for other peoples wallpapers and uploading them to opendesktop?

What is opendesktops view on this, would love to hear some feedback.

Thanks for your reply jimmy, trouble is though, are’s are getting buried in the amount of duplicated images being uploaded ;(
